Westin Europa & Regina Hotel Update

Located on the Grand Canal at San Marco, 2159, just before it widens and becomes the Bacino di San Marco, with a view of the Baroque church of Santa Maria della Salute, this was the view that inspired Claude Monet, the impressionist painter. The panorama is splendid. Close by, just a short walk away are St. Mark’s Square (Piazza San Marco), St. Mark’s Basilica, the La Fenice Opera House, and Calle XXII Marzo for exclusive shopping. Tickets to cultural events at the La Fenice Opera House, the Malibran Theatre and the Goldoni Theatre can be ordered with the concierge. All of these theatres close to the hotel.
The Westin Europa is made up of five historic palaces which at one time, belonged the the illustrious Tiepolos family in Venice. Two of the city’s Doges and the painter Giambattista Tiepolo of the 17th century were of this family.
